Convertible backpack tote pack EDC accessories | SSCY

Our large convertible backpack tote in a unique Japanese nylon with an open center slot in the front for odd shaped objects.

We love tote bags - easy access, no sweaty back, easily removed. We love backpacks - distributes weight, easy to ride with on a bike, but we could never ride a bike with a tote comfortably or safely and we got tired of taking our backpack off every time we needed something, so we combined the two and made the patent pending convertible tote backpack. Throw it on as a backpack, ride to the market, convert it to a tote in seconds, shop, then switch it back, and pedal to the next adventure.

Unlike commonly found nylon, this unique twill woven Japanese nylon in a matte finish with a hand feel reminiscent of wax cotton is specially treated to give it structure and subtly sounds like a paper bag when handled. Because it has structure, we can use fewer materials to keep the bag light and durable. The fabric is lightly water resistant, but does soften when wet, yet will stiffen up again when dry. Our cross body bag that's perfect for light days.

This is the bag for those light days for a day ride or a quick jaunt to the park when a hip bag is too small but a messenger bag is too much. Carry a sandwich, a map, an extra shirt, a camera, your ebook, a drink, an extra tube and still have room thanks to the diagonal expandable pleat. The best part of the patent pending Bandolier is that you can always easily access either pouch on the fly without ever taking off the bag or dismounting from your bike by just swinging the bag over your shoulder. Cinch it up like a messenger bag and it stays in place while you ride. The bag is compact enough to wear under a jacket, particularly useful if you get caught in bad weather. But if you do get caught off guard the bandolier is made of tough water-resistant poly duck that is vinyl backed with a large interior pocket made of the same stuff. READ MORE →

The Hemisphere Fold Pouch can be either a large or small pouch.

We just couldn't decide if we needed a big pouch or a small pouch more for our pencils, notepads, cords, and other essentials, so we just combined the two sizes into our Hemisphere Fold Pouch. Keep it open for larger items or fold it in half and snap the corners together for a smaller pouch with two compartments. You also can stand the pouch upright, to keep, for instance, your pencils visible and accessible but contained so they don't roll away. Just snap one side together and splay out the other end to stand it up. Unfolded pouches can also be paired together using the button snaps or snap one onto webbing or a belt. READ MORE →
